Hi, everyone!

As we all know, Cohh has a lot of gaming going on. Since it's easy to be confused on what he'll be playing we're going to try to keep people updated on (potential) games he'll be playing each week. This week (August 31 - September 6) the games are:

Wasteland 3
Warframe

Cozy streams:
Whatever he feels like playing

Please keep in mind that this list could change at any time.

Variety streaming is the name of the game. Ask the man himself, and Cohh will call say he’s a variety streamer. I know it. You know it. We all know it to be true.

There are times when he spends such a large amount of time in one game that jokes are made by chat. Jokes that make claims that Cohh’s anything but a variety streamer. If you’re reading this you can probably think of times this has been said. Fall Guys? Escape from Tarkov? The list goes on.

As the week began and the game remained the same, a few of the same comments crept out from chat but quickly died down. That was simply because the game was a joy to watch, just as much as it was to watch for Cohh to play.

Gradually the variety returned and the jokes fell by the wayside as Cohh reached the end of his visit to the Wasteland. We saw him return to old favorites, and the nostalgia bug bit him. This all happened while he tried to rule various kingdoms, albeit poorly.

Confused? Intrigued? Want to know more? Well look know further, it’s time to review.

Wasteland 3

Last week we began the march to 100% where Cohh spent many days and cozy streams working towards completion. As the week began, we knew the end was near.

Initially believed to be 100+ hours in playtime, Cohh topped out at just over 60, which was a minor letdown if anything.

It wasn’t mentioned in the last review but if anything in the main story happened in the cozy streams, Cohh would do a brief recap at the start of the stream the next day. The community has many international viewers and others who can’t make the evening streams. So, Cohh would spend a few minutes each day to recap the events so everyone was on the same page. It’s awesome that you do that man. :cohhL:

To get Cohh’s thoughts on the game check here. If you want to see the entire playthrough, or pick up where you left off, head over to YouTube.

Warframe

As the variety began to return to the streams, Tuesday saw a dive back into the Warframe universe.

Cohh spent the afternoon working to unlock the Helminth in his ship. For those who don’t know, the Helminth is an organism (of sorts) added in the Heart of Deimos expansion for the Digital Extremes product.

The purpose of Helminth is to absorb various abilities of frames that you feed it. In turn, you’re able to add an ability from that frame to others. This ability can’t be picked as DE told the player base of what would be available to transferred. :cohhOMG:

The one catch is to be able to use this ability, a player has to grind reputation with the new faction introduced. This keeps the player busy and having fun for hours on end.

To see how Cohh continued to work towards unlocking this new system, check out the playlist.

Control: The Alan Wake Experience

As "Control" saw its second DLC release, Cohh jumped back into a game he enjoyed.

This time we got to see how exactly “Control” and “Alan Wake” were connected, as the developer Remedy had previously stated the games shared the same universe.

This expansion saw gradual shift from the style “Control” was known for to a more shared experience you’d be familiar with from “Alan Wake.” While this was introduced, the main arch of the foundation, based on the SCP, remained and expanded upon.

Head over to YouTube to watch Cohh’s experience in the DLC.

Crusader Kings III

A small byproduct of Dropped Frames is the chance someone tries out a new game. In the days leading up to the show, many people asked in stream if Cohh was going to play the newest iteration.

The possibilities were slim, until itmeJP spoke about it on last week’s show. Highlighting the intricacy and challenges sparked Cohh’s interest. It certainly helped that he didn’t have a game planned for the cozy stream three hours later.

To be fair, Cohh has stated these games aren’t ones he usually wants to play. He has stated these games can often overwhelm him and suck the joy out.

After a few cozy streams, and appearances during regular streams, he has come around on this one. This game is deep and challenging. Think a more in-depth “Civilization” game.

While other games may take over the stream hours, Cohh has stated he’ll return to it again. To be ready for when that happens, head over to YouTube to see what he learned, and didn't. :cohhT:

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning

Thanks to THQ Nordic, Cohh was able to give many people a first look at the remaster of the game initially released in 2012.

Nostalgia ran rampant both for Cohh and chat as we dived back into a game that many people had played. After learning the ropes in CKIII, he made a joke about needing to mindlessly hack and slash for a couple hours. KoA was just what the doctor ordered.

It has to be stated here that Cohh’s anger or frustration at events is his own fault. That’s because he is playing as a wizard, a glass cannon of sorts. Let’s not even talk about his aim. :cohhAim:

Opinions vary on if the game is good or not, and that is for you to decide if the game is worth purchasing as it released Tuesday.

To get a some help on the matter, check out Cohh's playthrough found on YouTube.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2

Speaking of nostalgia, this collection hit home for many in the Cohhilition who grew up in the 90’s, or even 2000’s.

Cohh spent the weekend trying various tricks and challenges that made the franchise loved when it initially came out. One thing was certain, everyone was mixing up when various parks, events or sections were and what game they were in. That happens when a hit series has numerous titles over that came out over a 10-year period.

Laughs were had, and memories shared. All-in-all a common theme was the hope that the remaining games in the series got similar treatment.

Because of the music in the game, Cohh's playthrough will not be on Youtube. Feel free though to check out his VODS for Saturday and Sunday.
